On behalf of our Partner, a Pharmaceutical Company based in Athens is currently seeking an experienced Production Line Manager.


Our Client:

The position holder will report to the Head of Production & Packaging.


The main responsibilities of this role will be to:

• Plans work schedules, set priorities with urgency, keeps work pace, and meet deadlines within a complex, rapidly changing environment.
• Coordination of Production and Packaging departments in order to achieve daily production targets.
• Participates in the training and development of the skills of production employees.
• Ensures proper use and operation of equipment in cooperation with the technical department
• Provides guidance, support and direction through positive interactions with packaging associates during daily operations
• Κeeps track of production activities: ensures supply of raw materials, components and other products for production
• Checks equipment availability and operational status; ensures production processes are carried out
• Ensures workplace safety and proper management of waste and residual materials
• Monitor and ensure proper equipment operation and all safety rules and guidelines are followed
• Maintain production schedules and timelines
• Integrates new hires coordinates production staff, employee rotation, and employee movement


Qualifications include:

• University degree as a Chemical Engineer/ Chemist/ Pharmacist
• Msc. in Industrial Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology
• 3-5 years work experience, in a similar position, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Able to plan, allocate resources, manage production, and coordinate people and equipment
• Strong problem solver and planner with organizational and analytical ability
• Knowledge of ERP tools (eg SAP)
• Bilingual at least in English and Greek
• Computer literacy
• Managerial and technical skills
• Working experience in foreign pharmaceutical industries will be considered as an additional asset
• Knowledge of further foreign languages will be positively evaluated
